The My Nintendo loyalty program is almost to become a sweet new perk.

Starting in "early March," you lot'll be able to redeem My Nintendo Gilded Points for Switch games and downloadable content, Nintendo announced today.

"My Nintendo members already earn Gilded Points past buying qualifying games," the company wrote in its announcement. "Before long they'll exist able to redeem Golden Points for eligible digital games and content for the Nintendo Switch system, too."

Here'southward how it works: Every time you buy a qualifying game for Nintendo Switch, Wii U, or Nintendo 3DS, you'll earn Gold Points worth 5 percent of the amount yous paid for a digital version or 1 percent of what you paid for a physical re-create (not including any points or discounts used).
